APPLICATIONS
Over the past 2 decades, numerous construction companies have diverted their concrete reinforcement priorities towards synthetic fiber reinforcement. Synthetic Fiber reinforcements assure improvements in concrete construction in performance as well as economical aspects – All improvements assured as per static design according to International standards.
Fiber Reinforced Concrete guarantees to deliver the following benefits to your project:
Time consuming steel transport & placement is eliminated |
Labor costs of steel transport & placement is eliminated |
No concrete cover necessary |
Reduced overall concrete thickness |
Increased concrete serviceability life |
Reduced concrete maintenance costs. |
Thinner and lighter Precast elements |
Reduced number of rejected Precast elements |
Increased Production speeds |
Increased site safety & efficiency |
SLABS ON GROUND
The term “Slab On Ground” complies with a wide range of Interior and Exterior Slabs. This range is further widened as slabs may be subjected to varying intensities of loads, depending on their implementation.
INDUSTRIAL & COMMERCIAL FLOORING
Due to the functions of industrial floors such as manufacturing, storage & distribution: Industrial floors are subjected to heavy, substantial loads. Gradual, high - intensity loading of these floors induces crack propagation and more crucially, crack growth.
Conventionally, Steel rebar/ WWM or Steel fiber reinforcements have been utilized for concrete reinforcement in order to counter this aforementioned Crack propagation and growth.
i3P's concrete fibers provide a high performing alternative to these conventional concrete reinforcement materials.
EXTERNAL AREAS & PAVEMENTS
Conventional steel is a liability as a concrete reinforcement. Especially in outdoor areas, constantly exposed to water, varying atmospheric conditions such as humidity and rain, and importantly, concrete in contact with seawater. Alkaline salts have very corrosive reactions towards steel, and this leads to early and regular commissions of maintenance costs.
i3P's concrete fibers are a range of chemically inert, polyolefin-based fibers
that do not react upon contact with water or any corrosive environments, whatsoever.
